Success Stories

Here will be a few articles about successful placements that have occured. Photos of Brittany dogs in their happy new lives with loving familes. Just four or five short articles would be great. Like a paragraph describing a certain dog, the folks who adopted it, how well it worked out for them. It would be really great if we got a sentence or two from the new owners about how happy they were to find a dog and give it a loving home.

This is a sample Success Story

Loren is an American Staffordshire Terrier who was found wandering and was then delivered to the animal shelter in the hopes that her family would show up for her ... but no such luck.  Loren was about 9 mos old when she was found (June 2006) and was very skinny when we got her.  With our care. she gained some weight and got her energy back. Of course, she still very puppy-ish. loren had a bit of basic training, but was eager to learn more.

In january of 2010, the Smith family came to our ranch seeking a dog. They owned property and wanted a companion for their children. Loren was the perfect fit, filed with playful energy but a deep sense of responsability towards people. After a brief trial, the Smiths adopted Loren, and she is now part of the family.

Ms. Smith writes: "We are overjoyed to have Loren in our home. Knowing that the Brittany Foundation saved Loren from near-certain death in a shelter, we are grateful for all the foundation does. Loren is a cherished member of our family and will be for years to come. We are so grateful to the Britanny Foundation for bringing Loren into our lives".

We need labor for construction, landscape maintainance providing socialization and care for the dogs in their kennels, staffing events and administrative tasks. We are a working ranch that always has projects which require help, particularly with brush clearance during fire season.
